Felting a Top: Hand-Felted & Hand-Dyed Wearable Art
(Hosted by the San Diego Creative Weavers Guild)
Join me for a two-day creative journey into the art of felt making and surface design.
Day 1: We’ll begin by drafting a simple pattern based on your own measurements. Then, you’ll learn how to lay out wool and viscose in delicate, airy layers that transform into soft, wearable felt.
Day 2: We’ll play with surface design—using dyes and leaves to create organic textures and patterns that make each piece truly one of a kind.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll head home with a beautiful, hand-felted and hand-dyed top that you designed and created yourself.
